Nancy Holt’s work ‘Trail Markers’ (1969) from the Holt Smithson Foundation is currently on show in the group exhibition Wanderlust: Actions, Traces, Journeys 1967-2017 at the University at Buffalo Art Galleries, New York. Curated by Rachel Adams, UB Art Galleries Senior Curator, the exhibition continues to December 31 2017 and tours to Anna K. Meredith Gallery at the Des Moines Art Center from February 17 2018 to May 13 2018.

This 50-year survey exhibition considers the themes of action and exploration outside of the studio, investigating how artists engage this theme in various ways, including walking, cartography, land use, endurance, and the consideration of public space.
