The group exhibition Wanderlust: Actions, Traces, Journeys launches at Des Moines Art Center on February 17 2018, showing through to May 13 2018. Featuring Nancy Holt’s “Trail Markers” (1969) from the Holt Smithson Foundation, the exhibition takes its title from Rebecca Solnit’s book Wanderlust: A History of Walking (2000) and presents artwork spanning 1967 to 2017.

Organized by the University at Buffalo Art Galleries (where it was on show late 2017, reviewed here by Bruce Adams in Buffalo Spree), Wanderlust is curated by Rachel Adams, UB Art Galleries Senior Curator and is accompanied by a catalogue, published by MIT Press.
